This refurbished 150kva Himoinsa left our workshop today to be delivered by hiab as a site standby generator for a local medical research facility. Our work-scope included a main alternator overhaul, fitting a new Deepsea electronics 7110 controller into the control panel plus installing a Woodward electronic governor onto the fuel injection pump for steady 50hz isochronous operation. We also supplied an engine heater and battery charger for this machines new life as a standby set. The canopy was modified to allow armoured cabling to be connected for main output connections before being completely resprayed in grey.
