We recently built this 55kva generator in our workshop for a job in Ayrshire. Our remit was the generator had to be quiet running and have a large capacity fuel tank. We combined a redundant Aggreko 60kva tower power canopy/bedframe and a 55kva ex-standby Perkins 4.236T generator. A new control panel was built using a DSE6020 controller providing metering and engine/alternator protection, the canopy was shot blasted and repainted Anthracite grey and the engine/alternator were resprayed beige to match the original bedframe. This set provides 3ph power to run a green bedding system on a large dairy unit and also provides standby power for the farm in the event of a mains failure.

We recently installed this 100kva hushpower canopied generator as an automatic mains failure system for a scientific research facility. We supplied the machine with battery charger and block heater, it was fully load tested and serviced before being painted prior to delivery. A 150A DSE controlled changeover panel monitors the incoming mains supply and will start the generator on low phase-phase voltage, low phase-neutral voltage or a total supply failure. The entire building including low temperature freezers, IT servers and biomass heating plant will be supplied by the generator in the event of a loss of supply. All the cabling and containment including changeover panel were installed with little or no inconvenience to our client who were already using the building, finally the install was commissioned at an agreed time, on time.

This brand new 500Kva Aksa generator was supplied by us to Breedon Aggregates at their Powmyre Quarry near Forfar. This machine runs a 50hr week supplying the quarry with the necessary power for their crushing and screening plant as well as general site power. We carried out a few subtle modifications to this set before delivery to help it cope with  the arduous conditions seen in a quarry environment and have put a service plan in place to ensure the longevity and reliability of the machine.

This is one of Aksa’s new range of generators for 2014 featuring a bunded base frame and we are proud to have sold the first one into Scotland.
