Wallace Power understand that not all applications/budgets demand a new generator and finding a good used set can be a bit daunting. All our used generators go through our workshop and are thoroughly checked, repaired and serviced before being load tested to their full capacity.
We offer a warranty of 6 months or 300 running hours to all our used sets for your piece of mind.

PTO Generators Supplied
We have recently overhauled a 20kva PTO generator and installed it in a local dairy farm.The installation included a manual changeover switch and a point of isolation for the farms 50kw solar PV panels when running on generator. Overhaul included new brushgear, a thorough clean plus a re-varnish and a change of gearbox oil. A new indicator panel for correct PTO shaft speed for steady 50hz/415v output was built into a plastic enclosure to be placed in the tractor cab when the generator is used.

200KVA Standby Generator for Kingsbarns Golf Course
This used 200kva AJ Power built acoustic canopied generator has been installed at Kingsbarns Golf course supplying their essential services board during mains power outages. We uprated the control panel to include an auto-start controller, a battery charger, and fitted an engine heater to ensure immediate start up even in the coldest of weathers.
We installed this generator with Initiative Electrical Ltd of Bellshill after they had modified the customers switch-room and provided a new 400A auto changeover panel.

Woodward L Series Governor Problems? Delphi DPG retrofit.
Have you been experiencing problems with your “L series” Woodward Governor?
Wallace Power Services Ltd. have successfully retrofitted a GAC governor set up to the Delphi DPG range fuel injection pump on two Perkins 1104 engines fitted in XD60 FG Wilson generators. The close proximity of the cylinder head to the fuel injection pump, plus injector pump gear timing issues when removing the injector pump for a retrofit means this is not a straightforward job. We fitted these new electronic governors in our workshop for a client who uses his machines as a synched pair for live events, with cost and reliability being the most important factors in his choice of GAC equipment. Both machines were thoroughly load and function tested before being dispatched straight to site for their first job.
The beauty of this new set-up is that you no longer need a laptop with the correct software to change any parameters on the governor, any adjustments can now be made ,on site, to allow frequency changes,synchronising or simply UPS compatability.
New 110kva generator supplied to Hutton Stone Ltd.
This new 110kva AKSA Diesel Generator has been supplied to Hutton Stone Ltd at Berwick on Tweed to run two new stone cutting saws. This unit will run a 40hr week until the mains transformer is uprated when it will become an AMF standby machine. Downtime due to power cuts are costly to Hutton Stone and the generator will ensure that production is not affected by mains power failures.It has a Perkins 1104 engine and a Newage Stamford alternator with a DSE control panel, we retro-fitted this machine with a PMG and an MX341 voltage regulator to give better motor starting characteristics. A service contract has been agreed to ensure the longevity of this unit.

Good used 175kva generator sourced for another customer.
This used super hushpower generator has been sourced for The George Hotel in Inveraray. This machine has a large 1100ltr bunded base fuel tank coupled with near silent running make it the ideal standby power source for this busy well known hotel. An engine heater and static charger have been added to ensure 100% reliability. A new custom made 300A automatic changeover panel will complement this generator, giving the hotel full available standby power within 30seconds of a mains failure with no intervention from our client. This generator has a 5510 Deep-sea gen-set controller affording the client with full metering and shutdown protection, protecting both the generator and the hotel.
